Thank you for your interest in the Seventh Annual International Social Uprising Resistance and Grassroots Encouragement (SURGE) Film Festival Honors.

We would like to offer everyone who attends the SURGE Film Festival the optional opportunity to send us photos.

This includes audience members and filmmakers.

In addition, if you are a filmmaker or screenwriter who were not able to attend the awards, we welcome you to send photos of you holding the SURGE Honors certificate or the SURGE Eternal Flame Award.

Here are some things to keep in mind:

• Do not take photos of anyone without asking permission.
  
• Images must be in JPEG, GIF, TIFF, or PNG format and no larger than 10MB in size.   Currently, we do not support transparent PNG or animated GIF images.

• We recommend that you pre-crop your images to a 4:3 or 3:4 (landscape or portrait) aspect ratio, ideally at a resolution of 1280x960 pixels or higher.

Please keep in mind you are not required to send us photos.  Creating a video from your photos of you holding your award or certificate is just one more way that we work to encourage and support you!  Please find our contact page for the email address to send the photos.   A music video of the February 2012 SURGE Film festival highlights is found below.
